Principle of the ultrasonic water meter

The principle of the ultrasonic water meter is that under the excitation of the high-frequency signal issued by the ultrasonic generator, the transducer converts the received electric energy into sound energy (namely mechanical vibration), and conducts it to the water along the connection line between the transducer and the transmitter transducer. Since water is much denser than air, the pressure and acceleration caused by sound waves traveling through water are many times greater than in air.

This pressure and acceleration on the human body or animal body will produce a weak biological effect. If people are in such an environment, they will feel pain, itching, and other uncomfortable feelings, while animals will feel uncomfortable and even die. By using this characteristic of ultrasound, it is possible to achieve the function of human health and animal epidemic prevention and quarantine.

(1) The measurement of liquid media: ultrasonic penetration ability is very strong, and can spread through solid material and liquid and gas with an air gap. Therefore, it can be used to detect the liquid flow rate and the size of the flow; It can also be used to check whether the composition of the liquid has changed, and so on;

(2) the measurement of solids: ultrasonic can be used to detect underground minerals or other metal objects;

(3) for gas measurement: such as for detecting the oxygen content in the air, carbon monoxide concentration, etc.;

(4) Detection of particle size in flowing material;
