Common Problems in the Use of Ultrasonic Water Meters
Ultrasonic water meters are designed for applications requiring high accuracy, long life, and dynamic water volume range. Highly advanced fully digital technology enables precise measurements without any moving parts, ensuring optimum yield without compromising performance. These meters are used to measure potable and non-potable clean water in commercial and industrial environments and are capable of bi-directional flow measurement. Ultrasonic water meters are widely used in urban water supply pipelines, household water consumption total meters, water resource intake monitoring, farmland irrigation, and other places, so what problems will be encountered in the actual use of ultrasonic water meters?
1. The construction site environment is relatively harsh, and climate change is relatively obvious. Will it affect the long-term operational stability of the ultrasonic water meter?
Answer: The on-site environmental conditions are harsh, and the protection level of the ultrasonic water meter is tested.
The ultrasonic water meter produced by S.H.Meters has achieved the highest protection level of IP68 in a real sense. Mainly from two aspects, one is "waterproof of the whole machine: the sealing of the whole machine reaches IP68 protection level"; the other is "waterproof of components: each part reaches IP68 protection level independently, and it can work for a long time even if the watch body enters water ".
On the basis of theoretical waterproofing, we have carried out long-term experiments and demonstrations of practical applications, which can fully guarantee the long-term stable operation of ultrasonic water meters.
2. There is no power supply on-site.
Answer: The ultrasonic water meter has a built-in lithium battery (3.6V, 19Ah), and the service life of the battery is 8-10 years.
4. There is an error between the actual flow rate and the flow rate of the traditional mechanical meter.
Answer: Traditional mechanical watches are greatly affected by external factors such as water quality and service life, and the measurement accuracy for long-term operation cannot be guaranteed. The working principle of ultrasonic water meters shows that the accuracy of ultrasonic water meter measurement has nothing to do with factors such as water quality and operating time. Long-term stable and accurate measurement can be guaranteed.
