A wide-range ultrasonic water meter is a type of smart meter that uses ultrasonic waves to measure water flow without any mechanical moving parts. It can achieve high accuracy and a large range ratio. 

What are the ways to measure the flow of ultrasonic water meters?
Doppler shift: This method uses the frequency change of ultrasonic waves reflected by particles or bubbles in the fluid to measure the flow velocity.
Transit-time: This method measures the time difference between ultrasonic signals sent upstream and downstream along a path across the pipe. The time difference is proportional to the flow velocity.
Velocity difference: This method measures the radial transit time difference between two pairs of transducers located at different positions along a pipe. The radial transit time difference is related to both axial and radial flow velocities.
